2024 is almost over and the future is unknown. The only constant we can be sure of is that change is inevitable - always.
We want to veer away from what’s happening in the world and instead focus on the light.
Here in New York we stumbled upon a choir rehearsing in one of the city’s most dynamic cultural institutions. The choir is open to anyone with the passion and the desire to join others in song. It’s a reminder of the extraordinary diversity of New York. In these divisive times it is amazing to see everyone happily work together to createharmony. Different ethnicities, backgrounds, beliefs, ages, genders, sexual preferences. What a beautiful mélange showing what the world can offer when we have the arts to link us. Both the space and the choir’s mission is closely aligned to ours at see-zeen - to offer a space to all to collaborate and create.
Across the Atlantic in Berlin, a different encounter took place at a 90th birthday party celebrating life. Young teens to octogenarian couples from different backgrounds, shared stories and ideas, leaving the younger generations surprised by the broad-mindedness and positive attitudes of the older generation, who embraced current technology and societal changes. It's a reminder that human connection transcends age and culture.
The choir and the party reflect our vision at see-zeen: to foster an open-minded community. We aim to provide aplatform for photographers to share their unique talents, ideas, and cultural perspectives. In a world filled with negativity, we believe in the power of human connection to inspire.
