Why do you take pictures?
I think pictures are a very good way to tell stories and connect with people.
Where do you get your inspiration?
I like reading popular science literature and watching fantastic films. Also, of course, I am inspired by the artworks of other artists. I like to explore how the author thought when he created his work.
Who are your influences?
Lucas Blalock, Asger Carlsen, Gregory Crewdson
What determines the subject matter you choose?
I like to think about some scientific and fantastic theories in my art. It is some foundation for my concept. For example, my recent project is about nonlinear time. My character lives in a world where all is happening at one time. That is why they become a mutant or a monster. They try to stabilize themselves but can’t.
What impact would you like your art to have?
My art is some of kind of therapy for me. I share my emotions and feelings and want a viewer to think about their experience.
What artwork do you never get bored with?
I really like experimenting with shapes and concepts. It is never boring for me.
Is there anything you want to add?
no, thanks! :)

Project statement

My inspiration was a fantastic theory about the nonlinearity of time. What would happen if time did not go from the past to the future and all events could be simultaneous? In my opinion, it may be very similar to when we are scared or angry but can't show it physically.

My medium is photography, which in itself is a recorder of time. With the help of deliberate processing, I show several time periods at once. One frame overlaps, interferes with another, as one moment overlaps another.

In my works, I talk about the value of our existence here and now. My character is trying by all means to fix himself, his state, to stop the movement. Sometimes, as a result of this inner work, mutations occur that turn the character into something new, unlike himself.
